The BIG NEWS IS HERE! Fort Worth Metro has a new home. We have been given an amazing outreach building to call home and we are THRILLED!! We have waited for this moment for a very long time and are so thankful to the Lord for blessing us and entrusting us with this wonderful facility.
Metro Ground Zero is the name of our new facility and is located at 8000 W. Elizabeth Ln. off of Hwy 80/Camp Bowie in Fort Worth.
Why “Ground Zero”? You see, Ground Zero is defined as “the center of intense change….the point where an explosion occurs…or the starting point.” For us, we want nothing more than to see intense change take place in the lives of our families at Fort Worth Metro. Our burning desire is to see an explosion of God’s power sweep across our City. We know that the place in which that explosion will begin is in us, in the epicenter of all that we do, the place where the prayers are prayed, where the decisions are made, where the vision is cast and the dreams begin…our headquarters…our home base…GROUND ZERO! No name could be more appropriate, and we are ready for the explosion.
This new building has given us a new opportunity to reach out to a community that we have not reached out to before, and we are thrilled about the prospect of reaching more souls for the kingdom. Because of the extra space, we are now going to be able to house a food and clothing pantry, which we have never been able to have before. We are so excited about the opportunity to touch lives in a very tangible way.
The building does, however, give us a greater need. We are in the process of remodeling and fixing up the place to truly make it our own and give it new life. With that comes extra expense. We have a wish list of some things that are needed to help us finish out this project. We hope that you will consider partnering with us to make this new home a reflection of God’s greatness.
